Xeropoint is a new learning management platform designed to empower alternative holistic wellness experts to share their knowledge with like-minded individuals. Development began in 2022, kicking off with the research, planning and design phases to create a platform that truly serves both teachers and learners in this space.

The Opportunity

The wellness and personal development industry lacks a trusted, unified platform. The landscape is fragmented and often exploitative of those seeking genuine growth. Xeropoint is the solution, vetting all content creators before it can be sold and listed on the marketplace to ensure no one gets misled.

The Solution

The initial Xeropoint MVP provides a robust suite of integrated tools to help creators build and sell exceptional online courses. Features include:

1. Intuitive course builder – drag and drop modules, lessons, quizzes, and more, to simplify the content creation process for educators and experts.
2. Analytics dashboard – providing creators with invaluable insights into student engagement and course performance, enabling data-driven improvements.
3. Marketplace – seamlessly connecting eager students with knowledgeable experts with advanced search and filtering making it easy to sift through all the offerings and find the perfect course.
4. Course viewer – offering learners a user-friendly and efficient user interface to engage with and complete their course.

Combined, this blend of features provides al all-encompassing solution for both experts and students to foster the best education experience.

My Contributions

• Defined and managed project specifications throughout all phases of the application development cycle including product definition, scope, wireframes, web/mobile design, and implementation.
• Utilized excellent communication and leadership skills to collaborate with the development team, acting as both manager and full stack web developer, to ensure all requirements were delivered within scope, under budget, and on schedule.
• Spearheaded system architecture design and implementation to optimize the learning management system (LMS) for concurrent server load throughout application.
